Our vocal ensembles play a mix of irresistibly danceble Sinatra and Rat-Pack style tunes (e.g. Have You Met Miss Jones?, The Lady Is a Tramp, Come Fly With Me, The Way You Look Tonight, etc), or with Marie Murphy on vocals, a mix of the classic repertoire ascociated with Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day, et al - tunes like S'Wonderful, It's Only a Paper Moon, Someone To Watch Over Me, etc.

We can be your evening's main entertainment, or can play two or three sets prior to your DJ. Another popular option if you want music during dinner and music for dancing, is for us to provide a background trio or quartet then add singer and drums for one or two sets of up-tempo danceable tunes.

During your drinks reception or wedding breakfast
Our instrumental trio and quartet are perfect during a meal or while people are drinking. These ensembles play a mix of foot-tapping American songbook standards, at a volume to allow conversation. We can also start with one of these bands and add vocals to play music for dancing. See our ensembles page for more information on background music.
During the ceremony
Our instrumental trio or quartet can play a mix of American songbook standards, or our pianist can play a selection of light classical music while your guests gather, as the bride comes down the aisle and during the signing of the register. We will discuss the choice of repertoire with you, and coordinate the timings on the day with the registrar or vicar.
